Various players have given simultaneous displays on Tyneside over the years, some very eminent, others, er, not quite so eminent, taking on players of widely varying strengths. David Bronstein (world championship finalist) gave one in Newcastle's Civic Centre in 1975, but I don't know of any pictures of this.
