a) an explanation of the new system which has replaced the former NMS (northern membership scheme)

The results of the NJCA Kings Hall Tournament are now available, Adult sections: Open and Minor; all Junior sections: (under 16, under 12, under 9).

The Northumberland County Congress took place at the Parks Leisure Centre, North Shields during the weekend of 23-25 Sept '05, which was organised by Paul Bielby. Changes to the Rules of Chess

In the May 2005 edition of the NCA Bulletin, John Turnock wrote an article on this. This is very important because there are two particular changes which will affect many players in practice, so if you haven't seen the original, you are strongly recommended to view it here.
