Hebburn Chess Club is still active, but is now only affiliated to the Durham County Chess Association. (6/11/06)
Berwick Chess Club, although actually in Northumberland,
is affiliated to the (Scottish) Borders
Chess League. They meet at The Maltings Theatre &
Arts Centre, Eastern Lane, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1AJ, on Monday
