Hebburn Chess Club is still active, but is now only affiliated to the DCCA. (6/11/06)
Berwick Chess Club, although actually in Northumberland, is affiliated to the (Scottish) Borders Chess League. They now meet at The Elizabethan, North Rd, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1PL, on Monday evenings 7pm. Note change of venue and meeting night. See the club's own website for more details. Haydon Bridge Chess Club, who are also in Northumberland, play in the South Tyne League. (18/9/09)
